Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue: 15 among 41 trapped workers rescued from Silkyara tunnel

Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), November 28 (ANI): After 17 days of marathon operation, 15 out of 41 workers have been evacuated from the Silkyara tunnel. Meanwhile, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Dhami, Union Minister of State General (Retd) VK Singh met the workers who have been rescued. As per Zoji-la Tunnel Project Head Harpal Singh, the exact time of the breakthrough was 7:00 pm. The workers have been rushed to the hospital for medical examinations. Efforts to rescue the rest of the trapped workers are underway. More details are awaited.
