New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): National capital seems to continue reeling with pollution as air quality slumps to ‘very poor’ and ‘severe’ levels while smog took over, forcing people to use masks. Speaking to ANI, Dr Manoj Kumar, Director of Department of Cardiology stated that air pollution increases the level of risks for patients suffering from heart diseases. “Vehicular emission is responsible for 40% of pollution and it should be reduced, secondly the production of dust from industries, constructions should be minimised to control the pollution,” he said.
