“Very happy that such films depicting reality are doing well”: Anupam Kher on ‘The Kerala Story’

Mumbai, May 8 (ANI): The newly released film ‘The Kerala Story’ is receiving lots of mixed reactions from everyone in the country. Popular actor Anupam Kher who once has been a part of some controversial films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ on May 8, reacted to the film starring Adah Sharma. Anupam Kher asserted that the same faces and usual suspects can be seen behind the resistance formed against the release of the movie and that people protesting the movies should speak with their actions. ‘The Kashmir Files’ actor Anupam Kher said, “Same faces and usual suspects are there who are speaking against the film though I haven't watched the movie yet...I am proud that people are making such films and not only this film. People are thronging to the cinema halls, you can't make super hit films without the participation of the audience...I will comment more after watching the film but I am very happy that such films which are closer to reality are doing well, whatever may be the theme is…” He went on to say, “Everybody is open to making any film they want, if someone feels that a particular film is propaganda then they should make their own film according to their own perspective on the topic... they should answer back with their actions like making their own film”.
