Vietnamese Vice President holds bilateral talks with Nepali Counterpart during 3-day official visit

Kathmandu (Nepal), August 24 (ANI): Visiting Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, on a three-day official visit to Nepal, held bilateral talks with her Nepali counterpart Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav on Sunday. Xuan, in Nepal at Vice President Yadav’s invitation, will also call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. According to Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussions focused on mutual interests and bilateral cooperation. In the evening, she will attend a special event marking 50 years of Nepal-Vietnam diplomatic ties. This is the first high-level visit from Vietnam to Nepal. Earlier, Xuan met Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, who proposed direct flights to boost tourism. On Monday, she will meet President Ram Chandra Paudel and visit Patan Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa.
