Visiting Vietnam VP Holds Key Talks with Nepal PM Oli

Kathmandu (Nepal), August 25 (ANI): Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan met Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Kathmandu on Sunday during her three-day official visit. The meeting, held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, lasted nearly an hour and focused on enhancing bilateral ties. Both leaders discussed strengthening government-to-government, business-to-business, and people-to-people relations, alongside expanding diplomatic and cultural cooperation. Earlier in the day, Vice President Xuan met her Nepali counterpart Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, with talks covering tourism, trade, digital technology, and investment. The visit coincides with the 50th anniversary of Nepal–Vietnam diplomatic relations and marks the first-ever highest-level visit from Vietnam to Nepal, opening a new chapter in the partnership.
