Water level rises in Brahmaputra River, parts of Guwahati inundated

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 25 (ANI): Water level increased in the river Brahmaputra after heavy rainfall in upper Assam and neighbourhood states. Several parts of the city submerged. According to Central Water Commission official, water has been increasing in Brahmaputra for the last four to five days. Now this water is flowing near the warning level. According to the government report, five districts of Assam are in the grip of floods.
