Kolkata, June 16 (ANI): As the impasse at state-run medical colleges and hospitals in West Bengal entered the sixth day, doctors at NRS Medical College and Hospital held general body meeting in Kolkata. After the general body meeting of juniors doctors, a spokesperson of joint forum of junior doctors said, “We want immediate end to this impasse by discussion with the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee but that shouldn't be behind closed doors.” “To maintain transparency, we want this meeting to be held under media coverage.” Banerjee had on Saturday invited the agitators for closed-door talks, but the offer was turned down by them.
