Weekend Curfew: Barricading, checking underway at Delhi-Noida Border

Delhi-Noida Border, Jan 08 (ANI): Barricading and checking are underway by Delhi Police at Delhi-Noida Border, as the weekend curfew resumes in the national capital. Police personnel are checking vehicles and IDs of people who are commuting in Delhi amid the weekend curfew imposed in the national capital due to the surge in COVID-19 cases following the emergence of the Omicron variant of coronavirus. National Capital is under a 55-hour curfew with the weekend restrictions starting at 10 pm on Friday (January 7) until 5 am Monday (January 10). Delhi reported 465 Omicron cases so far.
