Wife, lover and aide arrested for killing husband

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Delhi Police has arrested wife along with his lover and another person for allegedly killing her husband. The accused have been identified as Zeeba Qureshi, Shoaib and Vinit Goswami. Accused wife wanted to get rid of her husband Moinuddin Qureshi to marry her lover Shoaib. Moinuddin Qureshi was shot dead near his workshop at Central Delhiā€™s Daryaganj, when he came out for urinating near Gate No-3 of Khalsa School. On analysis of the CCTV Footage and technical surveillance, police ascertained that the shooters involved may have belonged to the state of UP as the white colour Apache motorcycle used in the murder was found abandoned near Tara Hotel, Daryaganj. On verification, it was found stolen from Meerut, UP. On receiving the reliable information, the police team finally apprehended 3 accused persons involved in the murder, including the wife of the deceased. Accused Zeeba Qureshi was not happy with her husband and she wanted to get rid of him and to marry some other person. About 2 years ago, she came in contact with Shoaib through Facebook. Zeeba Qureshi lured and instigated Shoaib to kill her husband and to marry her. After that, the accused Shoaib came in contact with Vinit Goswami and he consented to kill Moinuddin Qureshi in lieu of Rs 6 lakh. Accused Vinit Goswami and Shoaib did recce at the instance of accused Zeeba Qureshi. Many times, the accused Vinit tried to commit murder as per the information shared with him but they did succeed. Vinit Goswami asked Shoaib to arrange some other aide to commit the murder. Zeeba Qureshi was pressing hard upon the accused Shoaib to murder her husband and marry her at the earliest as she wanted to get rid of her husband at the earliest. Shoaib agreed to be an aide of accused Vinit and he arranged a stolen motorcycle from Meerut. He asked accused Vinit Goswami to come on May 17 along with a firearm to Delhi for the commission of the crime. On the same day, Goswami shot Moinuddin at a very close range and both of them fled on the stolen motorcycle having a fake number plate. A country-made pistol and Rs 3 lakh were recovered from their possession.
