Wildlife SOS provides proper diet to Himalayan Black bears during winter in Dachigam National Park

Srinagar, Feb 10, 2026 (ANI): Himalayan Black bears get special diet provided by SOS wildlife in the rehabilitation centre of Dachigam National Park during winters. During winter months, these Himalayan black bears go into hibernation period and normal food is not available for them. Himalayan Black bears Rehabilitation Centre under Wildlife SOS has been arranging proper diet for these bears especially in winter months. Authorities of Wildlife SOS provided them with proper nutrition with high protein levels. During summer, Himalayan Black bears have been provided all types of edible things like barriers, apricots and other plants in large quantities.
