Will resign from LS seat if my son gets ticket: BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi

New Delhi, Jan 18 (ANI): Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Polls 2022, BJP Lok Sabha MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi on January 18 said that she will resign from her Lok Sabha seat if her son gets the ticket to contest election. She said, “He (son Mayank Joshi) has been working since 2009 and has applied for it (a ticket from Lucknow Cantt), rightfully. But if the party has decided to give the ticket to only 1 person per family, I will resign from my present Lok Sabha seat if Mayank gets a ticket.”“I wrote this proposal to BJP president JP Nadda and will always continue working for BJP anyway. Party can choose to accept or not accept my proposal. I had already declared that I won't contest elections, many years ago,” Joshi added.
