Mar 21, 2022

New Delhi, March 21 (ANI): Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on March 21 expressed happiness over declining invitation to participate in the event hosted by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and said that the invitation was for a national party Congress and he will await the guidance of the party high command. “I was happy to decline the invitation. There is nothing related to Kerala in the invitation. I have been asked to address a question of State-Centre relation in a seminar alongside Kerala CM and Tamil Nadu CM. None of the controversial issues of Kerala are going to be addressed in this seminar,” Tharoor said. Notably, the Congress party warned its leaders against attending the CPI(M) event after party leaders Shashi Tharoor and former Union minister KV Thomas were invited to the seminar on secularism and challenges. It is scheduled to be held next month.
