World Sindhi Congress protests in Geneva, highlights Sindh’s human rights concerns

The World Sindhi Congress organised a protest in Geneva outside the Broken Chair and the UN Human Rights Council during its 63rd session. Protesters urged the UN and international community to take note of the situation in Sindh, raising concerns over the alleged exploitation of Sindhi resources and plans to divide the province, including a project to divert Indus River water through six canals. They also organised a photo exhibition at the Broken Chair, highlighting alleged human rights abuses in Sindh, particularly the enforced disappearances of political leaders.
