Wrestlers Protest: Delhi Police welds barricades at protest site post scuffle with farmers

New Delhi, May 08 (ANI): The wrestlers’ protest gained more supporters with several farmers trying to join their protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on May 08. With aim to take a seat at the protest site, the farmers also broke down police barricades. However, the barricades at the protest site are now being welded to stop the farmers from showing their support for the wrestlers. Briefing on the situation, wrestler Sakshee Malikkh spoke on protesters’ clear stance over matter. Wrestlers along with several prominent names are protesting against Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over a harassment case. An FIR has been registered over the same whereas an investigation is underway.
