Yasin Malik death penalty row: Ravi Khanna’s wife demands capital punishment, says ‘Enough is enough’

Jammu (J&K), September 3, 2025 (ANI): On Yasin Malik seeking death penalty, Nirmal Khanna, wife of IAF officer Ravi Khanna - a victim of a terror attack carried out by him, says, "...If he is saying this on his own, then he should indeed be awarded capital punishment, death sentence. He is playing the victim card and wants to gain the sympathy of society...He says that he is a 'messiah of peace', that he is not guilty. But no guilty person would ever admit their guilt. This is a game of governments; he files affidavits and he is granted time, keeping his game plan ready. He should be granted the death sentence this time. Enough is enough. I have spent 36 years carrying this pain; I cannot do this anymore. Why has the Govt still kept him alive? His wife is in Pakistan and keeps conspiring against India. She must have prepared their daughter too...If you cannot grant him capital punishment, hand him over to us and give us permission..."
