Youth should adopt Khadi: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan), December 5 (ANI): Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot recently inaugurated the newly-constructed building of Khadi Gramodyog Bhawan in Jaipur. He also unveiled a statue of the ‘Father of Nation’ Mahatma Gandhi on the campus and visited the Khadi exhibition.During the programme Chief Minister Gehlot has said that promotion of Khadi institutes and the rural industries is a priority of the State Government. Government has decided to give 50% rebate on Khadi products on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi with the idea of establishing a kind of bond or association of new generation with Khadi.He also called upon the youth to adopt Khadi clothes as it would empower and promote Khadi weavers, knitters, craftsmen and rural industry workers On this occasion, the Chief Minister also awarded the workers and other stakeholders associated with Khadi industry for their good performance.
