Jaipur (Rajasthan) January 24 (ANI): Addressing a virtual dialogue program, 'Golden History of Independence and New India', organised to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that there is a need to maintain peace and harmony in the country today. “In this country of unity in diversity, some forces are misleading our youth. We should not let these forces succeed who create fight amongst the new generation on the basis of religion and caste,” said Gehlot. CM Gehlot also said that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose instilled a new spirit in the youth and showed his courage by raising Azad Hind Fauj on foreign soil. The CM expressed that there was mutual coordination among the heroes of the freedom movement for the purpose of freedom from British rule. Influenced by Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose jumped into the freedom struggle. Like Gandhiji and Nehru, his aim was also the independence of the country. They may have had ideological differences, but there was no difference in them because Gandhiji respected those who expressed dissent and criticised. He said that on the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji, the youth of the country will have to fulfil his dream of building a secular and egalitarian society, taking a pledge to keep the country united. This would be a true tribute to him.
