Zero Cost, Double Profit: Dahod Farmer’s Natural Farming Success

Jun 19, 2026

Farmers across Gujarat are increasingly embracing cow-based natural farming as a sustainable way to reduce rising cultivation costs and improve farm productivity. In Dahod district, trained farmers are using Jeevamrut, Ghan Jeevamrut, and other natural inputs prepared from indigenous cow dung and urine, helping lower dependency on chemical fertilizers while enhancing soil fertility. The Agriculture Department and the ATMA Project are promoting this eco-friendly farming model through training programs, model farms, technical support, and financial assistance. With reduced input expenses, healthier soil, and improved returns, cow-based natural farming is emerging as an effective solution for sustainable agriculture and higher farmer incomes, paving the way for environmentally responsible and economically viable farming practices across Gujarat.
