Uttarakhand’s stunning Valley of Flowers attracting tourists in large number

Chamoli (Uttarakhand), Aug 19 (ANI): As the very famous Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand is seeing a full blooming season, the UNESCO World Heritage site is attracting tourists amid pandemic. More than 100 species of flowers is blooming in the valley as of now. According to Amit Kanwar, director of Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, “The Valley of Flowers was opened for tourists on June 30. Till now, around 5000 tourists, including 4 foreigners, have visited the valley”. He also informed that the COVID guidelines are being followed here.
