Locals celebrate ‘Mera Chaorel Houba’ festival with great fervour in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), Sep 30 (ANI): Locals of Manipur celebrated ‘Mera Chaorel Houba’ festival with great fervour. It began on September 20 and will continue till October 06. The inaugural function of the festival was organized by the Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board. Devotees took out a rally from Lainingthou Sanamahi Shanglen to the sacred Kangla holding 7 coloured flag in their hands. ‘Mera Chaorel Houba’ is a traditional festival of Manipur which signifies unity and integrity of the people.
