Around 11 crore farmers benefited from PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme: Agriculture Minister Tomar

New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): While addressing the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) FPO summit virtually, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on February 28 said that around 11 crore farmers have benefited from PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme and more than Rs 1 lakh crore infrastructure fund is allotted in the Aatmanirbhar package. “There was a lack of investment in the agricultural sector for a long time. Today, around 11 crore farmers have benefited from our PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. More than Rs 1 lakh crore infrastructure fund is allotted in Aatmanirbhar package,” added Tomar.
