India has increased Defence export by 6 times: PM Modi

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 25 said that India has increased the Defence export by 6 times. “As a result of the government's boost to Make in India, in the last 7 years more than 350 new industrial licenses issued for defence manufacturing. From 2001 to 2014 only 200 such licenses were issued,” said PM Modi during a webinar on ‘Aatmanirbharta in Defence - Call to Action’. “It is pretty satisfying that we have increased the Defence export by 6 times,” he further said.
