Complete security arrangements in polling areas for 7th phase of UP Polls, informs CEO Ajay Shukla

Lucknow (UP), Mar 06 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Ajay Kumar Shukla on March 06 informed that a total of 613 candidates will be in the fray for 54 Assembly Constituencies, out of which 75 are women candidates. “Voting will be held in 54 assembly constituencies on March 7. There is complete security in the polling areas. Keeping in view the COVID transition, arrangements have been made for thermal scanning, sanitiser, PPE kit, mask at the polling stations,” he added.
