Banned Chinese apps were found deleterious: Nirmala Sitharaman

Mumbai, Feb 22 (ANI): On being asked about the Chinese app ban, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 22 said the apps were banned because they were found being deleterious in one way or another. “Applications get banned because they are found being deleterious We have banned apps earlier also, like in 2020. Trades continue on the requirement of importers,” said Nirmala Sitharaman. More than 250 Chinese applications have been banned in India since the year 2020.
