Record-Holding Nepali Mountaineer Pur Bahadur Gurung Cremated with Honors After Broad Peak Avalanche

Kathmandu (Nepal), August 07 (ANI): Record-holding Nepali mountaineer Pur Bahadur Gurung, popularly known as "Yukta," who was killed during an expedition on Pakistan's 8,047-metre Broad Peak, was laid to rest with honors in Kathmandu on Friday. The cremation was held at Swayambhu in the presence of his family, relatives, Home Minister Sudan Gurung, Nepali Congress leader Gagan Thapa, members of the mountaineering community and well-wishers.
