Harry Styles hits the Met Gala in sheer Gucci top

May 07, 2019

Washington D.C [U.S.A], May 7 : While the stars are shining at the Met Gala 2019 red carpet, Harry Styles made a style statement during his first Met Gala ever.
The 25-year-old singer opted for a sheer Gucci top with just the right amount of ruffle and sleek black lace detailing paired with high-waist pants. And when it came to footwear, he experimented yet again, slipping on a chunky pair of shiny men's black shoes.
Styles completed his look with a dangling pearl earring, several flashy rings which included a nod to his initials "H" and "S", hair slicked back as well as teal and black nail polish, as reported by Fox News.
The look of the singer is trending all over the Internet as he took a different path to flaunt his style on the red carpet. The singer dressed as a female pulled off his look really well.
Fans praised the singer for his red carpet look, applauding him for continuously breaking gender norms and pushing boundaries with his beauty choices. This isn't Styles' first time rocking nail polish. He's often seen with his fingers painted, and it's only fitting that the singer went all out in on-trend polish for the 2019 red carpet.
The 'One Direction' band singer, who is co-hosting the event in New York City, arrived with Gucci creative director, Alessandro Michele, who is also co-chairing the evening.
Apart from the singer, this year the Met Gala is hosted by Lady Gaga alongside Anna Wintour, Gucci's Creative Director Alessandro Michele and Serena Williams.
This year's gala theme, "Camp: Notes on Fashion," is inspired by a seminal 1964 essay by Susan Sontag in which she describes the phenomenon as something that shan't be talked about: "To talk about Camp is therefore to betray it."
Harry Styles is a part of English-Irish Pop band 'One Direction'. The London-based band was formed in July 2010 after finishing third in the seventh series of the British televised singing competition The X Factor. The band has since dropped five successful albums.
