New Delhi [India], October 28 : Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Pankaj Chaudhary on Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes feedback, sets deadlines to achieve targets and remains involved in the implementation of decisions, adding that the entire party works together and takes decisions during elections and political challenges.
In an interview with ANI, Minister of State for Finance Chaudhary highlighted the role of PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior BJP leaders in the party's organisational and election-related activities.
"When there is an election or a fight in the BJP, the entire party is involved. Whether it is the Prime Minister, or the Home Minister, or our Raksha Minister, or our National Leader, there is an involvement in everything," Chaudhary said.
Describing PM Modi's working style, the BJP leader said the Prime Minister does not limit himself to making decisions but follows them through to ensure that the intended targets are achieved within a specified timeframe.
"And whatever the Prime Minister decides, he doesn't just decide and let it go. He tries to make it to the end, in the same way in politics. He takes feedback. He takes feedback and targets it to be fulfilled by this date. He doesn't just say it and let it go," he said.
The state BJP chief added that he was impressed by the Prime Minister's work ethic and added that PM Modi's dedication motivates party members to continue working even when they feel tired.
"And as far as the Prime Minister is concerned, I am very impressed by their working style. When we get tired, we remember them. Then the tiredness goes away. Our Prime Minister is doing so much work, the Prime Minister is doing so much work, the President is doing so much work," he said.
Emphasising the BJP's broader objective, Chaudhary said the party's collective efforts were guided by the goal of developing India by 2047.
"So if we are doing this, sometimes people say, hey, a little bit. I say no, the whole party. Because our aim is to develop India in 2047," he added.
Chaudhary also expressed confidence in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's electoral prospects ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, asserting that the BJP leader would win from any constituency in the state if he contests.
When asked about Akhilesh Yadav and CM Yogi Adityanath challenging each other over Ayodhya, Chaudhary said, “Yogi Adityanath Ji is one of our dear leaders. After the work he has done in the last nine and a half years, if he contests from any seat in the state, he will win and return. And wherever Akhilesh Ji wants to contest, he is free to do so.”
His remarks come amid growing political activity in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections, with the BJP and the Samajwadi Party (SP) preparing for a crucial electoral contest. The Congress, meanwhile, is seeking to strengthen its position in the state while navigating seat-sharing discussions with its INDIA bloc ally, the SP.
