Tom Hardy likely not to appear in Mobland Season 3

May 22, 2026

Washington DC [US], May 22 : Tom Hardy will not appear in a third season of the series 'Mobland', according to Variety. The makers have already wrapped production on Season two.
According to Variety, Hardy will not appear in a third season of the Paramount+ crime drama.
Citing sources, the outlet reported that Hardy was not asked to return to the series following onset issues with executive producer Jez Butterworth, 101 Studios, and others. The actor or the makers have not yet confirmed the exit of Tom Hardy.
The actor plays the role of fixer Harry Da Souza in the series, which launched on Paramount+ last spring and quickly became the second most-watched series on the platform.
'Mobland,' which was created by Ronan Bennett, stars Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and Paddy Considine. It follows the Harrigan crime family, headed by Brosnan's Conrad and his wife, Maeve (Mirren). Considine plays their son Kevin.
Butterworth wrote all ten episodes alongside Bennett.
It's not the first time Hardy has clashed with colleagues on set. He notoriously fell out with co-star Charlize Theron on the set of "Mad Max: Fury Road," with director George Miller later revealing he had to be "coaxed out of his trailer," reported Variety.
Kyle Buchanan also wrote in 'Blood, Sweat, and Chrome: The Wild and True Story of Mad Max: Fury Road,' a book about the making of the film, that Hardy was 'aggressive' during filming.
