Well-equipped snow control room for effective clearance in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 11 (ANI): In view of the intense cold and frequent predictions of snowfall in the Kashmir valley, the snow control room in Srinagar has been equipped with the latest machines for the effective clearance of snow. The latest automatic machines are capable of clearing the snow quite effectively. The machines are equipped with 4x4 system, cameras and hearing systems. This year, the department has also introduced new plastic fibre blades to save the roads from damage. The department has 68 machines for different districts like Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal.
