Union Cabinet approves National Green Hydrogen Mission

New Delhi, January 04 (ANI): The Union Cabinet has given approval to the National Green Hydrogen Mission with an aim to produce 50 lakh tonnes of Green Hydrogen per annum by 2030. The government will provide incentives of Rs 17,490 crore for the development of Green Hydrogen in the country and Rs 400 crore rupees will be provided for a ‘green hub’. Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, “Union Cabinet has given approval to National Green Hydrogen Mission. India will be the global hub for Green Hydrogen.”
