Unique initiative of ‘Give Plastic, Take Gold’ a runaway hit in Kashmir

Anantnag (J&K), April 04 (ANI): Sadiwara, a far-flung village in Hiller Shahabad block of Anantnag in South Kashmir has come up with a unique initiative for saving the environment. They have started a campaign called ‘Give Plastic and Take Gold’, in which they are offering a gold coin for collecting plastic waste. Under the scheme, if someone gives plastic waste of 20 quintals, then the Panchayat will give him a gold coin on behalf of that plastic.
