India achieved target of 10 pc ethanol-blending in petrol: Hardeep Puri

New Delhi, Nov 02 (ANI): While addressing a Press Conference in Delhi on November 02, Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri informed that the government has achieved a 10 per cent blending target in May resulting in foreign exchange savings of Rs 40,000 crore. He said, “We have taken a big decision. We are reducing it to 2024-2025 from the target of 20 pc blending (in petrol) which we had set for 2030. We achieved a 10 pc blending target in May resulting in foreign exchange savings of Rs 40,000 crore.”
