Maharashtra: Chandani Chowk bridge demolished in Pune

Pune (Maharashtra) Oct 02 (ANI): Pune’s Chandani Chowk bridge was demolished on Oct 02. The old bridge was reduced to rubble in a time span of only 6 seconds. Around 600 kg of explosives were used to bring down the bridge. The Pune district administration made necessary arrangements for the demolition. Traffic near the demolition site was reopened at 8 am on Oct 02. The demolition was carried out by Edifice Engineering Consultancy Company that recently demolished the Supertech Twin Towers in Noida.
