Telangana: Raja Singh suspended from BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party suspended party's MLA in Telangana, T Raja Singh on August 23 following outrage over him allegedly supporting Nupur Sharma’s controversial remark. The party has asked him to show cause within 10 days as to why should he not be expelled. Earlier today, he was booked for his alleged derogatory comments against Prophet Muhammad. He has been booked under sections 153a, 295, and 505 of the Indian Penal Code.
