An awakened teacher will play decisive role in making India a Vishwa Guru: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 4 : Under the directives of Gayatri Teerth Shantikunj, the Indian Culture Knowledge Examination is being conducted across the country to connect students from Class 5 to the college level with Indian culture, values, ethics and life ideals.
A Provincial Teacher Dignity Workshop was organised for teachers and associates from Uttar Pradesh at Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow. The inaugural session was graced by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Guest, while Chinmay Pandya, Vice President of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, presided over the session.
Addressing the inaugural session, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Indian culture is not merely a matter of traditions, but the foundation of values that provide the right direction to life.
He emphasised that teachers have a crucial role in taking these values to the younger generation. "An awakened and value-oriented teacher can play a decisive role in making India a Vishwa Guru by developing not only knowledge among students but also character, a sense of duty and patriotism," he said.
Praising the cultural and constructive initiatives of the Akhil Vishva Gayatri Pariwar, Yogi Adityanath said that Yugrishi Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, through the Gayatri Pariwar, worked tirelessly to take Indian culture and spiritual consciousness to every section of society.
He remarked, “Ideas never die. Thought is Shabda Brahma, and Akhil Vishva Gayatri Pariwar is a powerful example of this.” He also recalled the efforts of revered Gurudev in promoting social harmony by bringing people from different sections of society together through Yagya, and remembered the penance, sacrifice and dedication of Param Vandaniya Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma.
Presiding over the inaugural session, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Vice President of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, said that Indian culture is based on timeless life values such as “Atmavat Sarva Bhuteshu” and “Matrivat Paradareषु.” With the objective of imparting these values to students, Param Pujya Gurudev initiated the Indian Culture Knowledge Examination, which today has reached millions of students and schools across the country.
On the occasion, Chinmay Pandya, who is also the leader of the team for the Birth Centenary celebrations, felicitated Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on behalf of the Akhil Vishva Gayatri Pariwar by presenting him with a memento, Gangajali and a Rudraksha mala.
A souvenir of the Gayatri Pariwar was also released during the programme. The top ten schools of Uttar Pradesh that performed exceptionally well in the Indian Culture Knowledge Examination were felicitated on the occasion.
Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, MLA Rajeshwar Singh, representatives of Shantikunj and several other distinguished guests were present at the programme.
