Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], September 25 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin highlighted the public's trust in the "double-engine" government and hailed the party's performance in the municipal corporation and municipal council election results across Rajasthan, stating that the outcome is a testament to the development agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
Addressing the 'Seva Sankalp Sabha' organised at Dadiya village to commemorate the 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the BJP chief congratulated party workers and the people of Rajasthan on the electoral success.
"On this day, marking the 110th birth anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyaya, I extend my greetings to you all and wish you a bright future. Today is a special day for us for another reason as well; I have just learned, as the Speaker and the Chief Minister were mentioning, that the results for the three municipal corporations and the municipal councils, which were yet to be declared, have also gone in favor of the BJP workers," Nitin Nabin said.
BJP President remarked that the results reflect the electorate's unwavering confidence in the welfare policies and good governance of the ruling dispensation.
"I offer my heartiest congratulations on this achievement. The figures, the numerical strength, and the victory you have secured reflect the public's blessing for the 'double-engine' government," he said.
"It is a testament to the faith people have in the work and development schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, as well as in the 'chariot of development' that is moving forward through their efforts to reach every single village and town. Therefore, I extend my sincere congratulations to the entire public of Rajasthan on this occasion," he added.
Later, the BJP national president will reach the Chief Minister's residence to chair a high-level organisational meeting with Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, divisional in-charges and co-in-charges, along with members of the upcoming Panchayati Raj Election Steering Committee.
During the meeting, Nabin will discuss electoral strategies and organisational matters with state leaders and representatives.
At noon, Nabin will participate in the 'Nikay Janpratinidhi Sammelan' (Local Body Representatives' Conference), organised to mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the pioneer of Integral Humanism.
In the evening, the BJP chief will attend the 'Yuva Samvad' programme at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur. The event will see Nabin interact with students and youth from across Rajasthan and share his views on youth participation in nation-building.
The visit comes as part of the BJP's organisational outreach and engagement programmes ahead of upcoming political activities in the state.
