Valsad (Gujarat) [India], November 3 : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Prabha Natural Farming Produce Sales Centre’ in Valsad with the objective of promoting natural farming and making naturally grown agricultural produce accessible to more and more people.
Finance, Urban Development and Urban Housing Minister Kanubhai Desai and Member of Parliament and Lok Sabha Whip Dhavalbhai Patel were present on the occasion.
According to the release, the Chief Minister inspected the shop and received detailed information about the products available there. This shop serves as a model centre offering fresh, naturally grown vegetables, fruits, grains and honey. In addition, essential inputs required for natural farming, such as ‘Ghan Jeevamrut’, ‘Gomutra’, ‘Beejamrut’ and ‘Jeevamrut’, have also been made available for sale to farmers and consumers.

This initiative will not only encourage farmers engaged in natural farming but also raise public awareness about the use of naturally farmed products.

Its primary objective is to establish a robust supply chain for the produce of natural farming farmers, thereby streamlining the process from production to direct sales to consumers and ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their products, a release further said.
