Around 8 cr families getting employment from dairy sector: PM Modi

Greater Noida (UP), Sep 12 (ANI): While addressing at International Dairy Federation World Dairy Summit 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 12 said that around eight crore families are getting employment from the dairy sector. “India’s dairy sector is recognised for production by masses rather than mass production. Today 8 crores families are getting employment from dairy sector,” he said. “The digital revolution witnessed in India has also reached the dairy sector. Digital payment system developed for India’s dairy sector can help farmers across the world,” he added.
