Nepal Ex-PM Deuba Returns After Gen-Z Protests, Gets Grand Welcome

Kathmandu (Nepal), July 13 (ANI): Former Nepal Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba returned to Kathmandu on Thursday after nearly six months abroad for medical treatment. Deuba, who was beaten during Gen-Z protests last September, was welcomed at the airport with musical bands, cultural performances and large gatherings of party cadres. The 80-year-old leader had travelled to Singapore in February with his wife, Arzu Rana Deuba.
