LDA temporarily closes Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Lucknow for public from September 16 to 18

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 16 : The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has decided to temporarily close the 'Rashtra Prerna Sthal' in Vasant Kunj for the general public from September 16 to September 18, officials said.
According to authority officials, entry into the premises will remain strictly restricted for all general visitors, tourists, and morning walkers during this three-day period.
The site is likely to reopen for public access starting September 19.
The Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Vasant Kunj is a prominent public attraction in Lucknow and witnesses visits from tourists and residents.
Officials said the temporary closure has been implemented as part of necessary administrative arrangements.
The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), which oversees urban planning and development activities in the city, carries out regular measures related to maintenance, security, and management of public facilities under its jurisdiction.
The authority has appealed to visitors to cooperate with the temporary restrictions and plan their visits accordingly.
As per officials, the memorial is expected to reopen for the public on September 19, with no changes announced in the schedule so far.
